There she discussed the critical role Finance teams play in the current turbulent market conditions and the qualities CFOs need to succeed and lead their businesses through this stage of the cycle. The profile coincided with her taking the Chair of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Finance and Management faculty. Dec 2008: Thunderhead, the document management software company, has been ranked as the top company in the Deloitte Fast 50 technology awards for 2008. sales at Thunderhead have risen an average of 87% a year between 2004 and 2007.
Nov 2008: Everymind partner Carolyn Bresh gave a presentation on 'Driving the bottom line' to the Institute of Chartered Accountants annual conference for Financial Controllers. Over one hundred Financial Controllers from the UK's leading companies attended. Carolyn's address stressed the need for finance executives to 'do the right things well' in areas such as people management, strategy and stakeholder management in addition to the typical responsibilities of finance.
