David spent 19 years at PwC and began working with private equity groups in the early 1990s. He became a founder member of the Transaction Services business in which he spent almost 10 years working with many of the large and mid market UK based private equity houses.

Since leaving PwC in 2004, David has turned his attention towards advising portfolio businesses and, in particular, helping to maximise the effectiveness of finance teams. David is currently an independent advisor to Inflexion Private Equity. Significant engagements during this time have included IRIS Software Group (Interim CFO and now NED and Head of Audit), Closerstill Media (Interim CFO) and Equiniti Group (Working Capital Improvement project). He has also recently supported Inflexion Private Equity in their acquisition of Rosemont Pharmaceuticals and investment in DWS.
