Restructuring Reuters
Prior to becoming a Partner in Everymind, Carolyn Bresh spent 11 years at Reuters Group plc in finance roles including Group Financial Controller. Carolyn was instrumental in the successful restructuring programme that transformed Reuters from being in deep trouble in 2003 to the successful 2007 merger with Thomson Corporation. The story of this restructuring was published in the ICAEW's Finance and Management Journal as a case study of successful organisational change. The story is told into parts through interviews with Carolyn and David Grigson who was CFO of Reuters Group at the time.
